Michael Niccolini
Founder & Principal

ABOUT

Mr. Niccolini is co-founder of Temple View Capital and is responsible for overall strategic direction of the Company. Mr. Niccolini has successfully executed the Company’s strategic vision, helping build one of the premier specialized private lending firms in the nation. Mr. Niccolini has been an entrepreneur for over twenty years with a focus on residential lending and distressed asset investing. Prior to founding Temple View, Mr. Niccolini founded MCM Capital, an $8 billion distressed asset management company, and Access Capital Mortgage, a successful mortgage lender that was sold to Presidential Bank FSB in 2008. Mr. Niccolini also founded Greenleaf Title and Escrow in 2001 and served as Senior Counsel at Microstrategy, Inc.

Mr. Niccolini earned a Juris Doctorate degree from University of Michigan Law School and a BA from Cornell University.

Steven Trowern
Founder & Principal

ABOUT

Mr. Trowern is co-founder of MCM Capital and its business purpose lending platform, Temple View Capital.  In addition to firm leadership and oversight, Mr. Trowern is responsible for execution of investment policy including asset acquisitions and investment performance.  Mr. Trowern develops the firm’s strategic direction and directs all capital raising, leveraged and structured finance vehicles and trading. Prior to joining MCM in 2007, Mr. Trowern was co-founder and Chairman of Dynamic Capital Mortgage, Inc., a national residential mortgage lender.  Mr. Trowern has held telecommunications investment banking positions with Lehman Brothers and Citicorp, credit research with Moody’s Investor Services, and co-founder of Fuse Products, Inc., a predecessor company to the team that created the iPod.

Mr. Trowern earned a Master in Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Economics and Political Science from University of Michigan.

Lara George
Founder & Principal

ABOUT

Ms. George is co-founder of Temple View Capital and is responsible for leadership of the Company’s financial reporting and client relationship functions. Ms. George oversees accounting and compliance policies, and relationships with third party service providers. She also manages audit oversight, corporate trust administration, master servicing, and investor relations. Prior to joining Temple View in 2007, Ms. George founded MCM Capital, an $8 billion distressed asset management company, and founded LG Financial Group, a boutique financial services firm. Ms. George has held commercial real estate and portfolio management roles with Citigroup in addition to co-founding a series of financial technology companies.

Ms. George earned a BS in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and was a Certified Public Accountant from 1992 until 1997.


Gerardo Botello
Founder - General Counsel & Compliance Officer

Mr. Botello is a co-founder and general counsel of Temple View Capital and is the head of the legal department responsible for corporate governance and the oversight of all legal aspects.  Mr. Botello manages corporate structure, securitizations, mortgage loan purchase and sale agreements, servicing agreements and partnership documents.  Prior to joining Temple View, Mr. Botello helped build MCM Capital into an $8 billion distressed asset management company.  Mr. Botello was also the general counsel for Greenleaf Title and Escrow.  Mr. Botello began his legal career as an attorney in the Corporate and Securities Group at the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan Lovells.

Mr. Botello earned a Juris Doctorate degree from American University and a BA from University of Washington

Timothy Savina
Director of Capital Markets and Portfolio Manager

ABOUT

Mr. Savina is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Temple View Capital.  Mr. Savina is responsible for all aspects of capital markets, including but not limited to, capital raising, quantitative modeling, due diligence, loan trading and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining Temple View in 2011, Mr. Savina was a senior financial engineer in Fannie Mae’s quantitative modeling and analytics credit risk division where he used various mathematical, analytical and econometric tools to calculate an allowance for loan losses.  Mr. Savina is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Savina earned a Master in Business Administration from University of Maryland and a BS in Finance from American University.

Lauren Shea
Chief Credit Officer

ABOUT

Ms. Shea is Chief Credit Officer of Temple View Capital and is responsible for business operations including transaction management, underwriting, closing, and information technology.  Ms. Shea oversees the daily operation of the company as well as acquisition due diligence, servicer surveillance, and the management of securitization and repo facilities.  Prior to joining Temple View in 2008, Ms. Shea was a Correspondent Account Executive for Aurora Loan Services, a Lehman Brothers Company, where she was responsible for client production in the New England and Mid-Atlantic Regions.  Prior to Lehman Brothers, Ms. Shea was the Vice President of Wholesale Operations at Dynamic Capital Mortgage, a regional mortgage lender in Boston, MA where she was responsible for the development, implementation and management of the wholesale channel.  Prior roles at Dynamic Capital Mortgage include, Operations Manager of the Retail Division and the Secondary Marketing Desk.

Ms. Shea earned a BA from Colgate University.

Jason Williams
Chief Financial Officer

ABOUT

Mr. Williams is CFO of Temple View Capital and is responsible for overseeing all accounting and treasury functions along with all financial and investor reporting.  Prior to joining Temple View in 2019, Mr. Williams was Acting Vice President of Fannie Mae’s two largest accounting divisions where he was responsible for day-to-day operations management of all general accounting and reporting for the Single-Family and Multifamily loans teams and the Securities accounting team.  Mr. Williams also held Director positions within Fannie Mae’s Financial Reporting team, and within the Corporate FP&A team.  Mr. Williams began his career as an auditor at multiple regional accounting firms where he gained diverse accounting, audit and tax experience with mortgage finance, construction, retail/wholesale and non-profit industries.

Mr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an accounting major from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Public Accountant within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Stephen Taylor
Chief Operating Officer

ABOUT

Mr. Taylor is the Chief Operating Officer of Temple View Capital overseeing daily operations across file delivery, processing, underwriting, systems administration, warehouse operations, and construction project management. With 20 years of industry experience across the mortgage life cycle, Mr. Taylor has held positions including Branch Manager of Diversified Financial Mortgage, Director of Loss Mitigation for BSI Financial Services, and Portfolio Manager for Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing. Mr. Taylor is a active real estate investor with fix and flip and rental projects, he is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Business Administration.

Ajay Mehra
Director of Technology

ABOUT

Mr. Mehra is the Director of Information Technology for Temple View Capital and is responsible for technology strategy, systems architecture, and enterprise platform development. With over 25 years of experience in IT architecture, business intelligence, strategy, and analysis, he has led major system transformations and process automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Prior to joining Temple View Capital, Mr. Mehra held leadership roles with General Motors Commercial Mortgage and provided consulting services to global pharmaceutical companies including Abbott Laboratories and Schering-Plough (acquired by Merck). His expertise includes CRM development, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, and cybersecurity.

Mr. Mehra earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.

Justin Wenk
Sr. Vice President, Servicing Oversight

Mr. Wenk is Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management.  Mr. Wenk has over 20 years of mortgage asset management and loan servicing experience.  Mr. Wenk is responsible for service branch management including default servicing resolutions, sales management, foreclosure oversight, bankruptcy management, loss mitigation management, title curative, modification oversight, and compliance with federal and local regulations.  Prior to joining the Company in 2008, Mr. Wenk held several senior mortgage banking roles and has been responsible for retail and wholesale loan originations, single loan and portfolio acquisitions, purchase due diligence, valuation reviews, and loss mitigation channels. Mr. Wenk has also worked extensively with both B2B and B2C platforms.

Mr. Wenk earned a BA in Finance from West Virginia.

Brendan Boyle
Director of Third-Party Originations

ABOUT

Mr. Boyle serves as the Director of Third-Party Originations for Temple View Capital, where he leads the strategy and execution of the firm’s Wholesale and Table Funding channels. Since TVC's inception in 2017, Mr. Boyle has been instrumental in architecting the company's third-party origination infrastructure. He successfully transitioned the division from a note purchase platform into a robust non-delegated correspondent channel and subsequently launched a White Label Table Funding channel to mitigate post-close risk for partners.

With a background in distressed asset management and NPLs, Mr. Boyle brings a distinct perspective on risk mitigation and operational efficiency to the private lending space. Under his leadership, the TPO division has navigated multiple market cycles to facilitate billions in loan originations, supporting a network of over 100 unique lending partners nationwide.
